An element naming two shortcuts
An element expands as one shortcut. One naming two can't be read either way, so it stops the build.
What it looks like
::: {.pullquote .pullquote}
:::
ERROR: an element names shortcut 'pullquote' twice
│ ::: {.pullquote .pullquote}
Delete one.
See https://keystone.knight-owl.dev/errors/two-shortcuts/#the-same-shortcut-twice
::: {.pullquote .aside}
:::
ERROR: an element names two shortcuts (pullquote, aside)
│ ::: {.pullquote .aside}
An element expands as one shortcut.
Nest one inside the other.
See https://keystone.knight-owl.dev/errors/two-shortcuts/#two-different-shortcuts
What it means
The same shortcut twice
The class is written twice, usually left behind by an edit.
Delete one
A repeat adds nothing: ::: pullquote expands exactly as the doubled class
meant it to.
Two different shortcuts
Each shortcut has its own template and attributes, and one element can't be both.
Nest one inside the other
Give each shortcut its own fence, one around the other, so each expands as its own element.
